Gig Worker Resistance

Summary

This project explores the different ways that gig workers resist against worker exploitation internationally by analyzing existing literature.

Description

The focus of this project is to understand what forms of resistance gig workers are using to resist different types of exploitation. By sysytematically documenting and analyzing the current literature on gig workers and platform economies with a focus on difference forms of overt and covert forms of resistance we can determine best practicies. A special focus will be on how technology plays a part in houw gig workers mobilize and resist.
